Introduced in 2009, this exclusive Paclite® membrane is laminated to lightweight, strong nylon textiles to produce garments that are extremely breathable, compressible and durably waterproof. This membrane contains a protective black layer that is made of an "oil-hating" (oleophobic) polymer and carbon that allows perspiration vapor to pass through, but prohibits body oils, cosmetics, salt water and insect repellents from altering the waterproof qualities of the membrane. Extremely compressible, this Fabric packs extremely small. .

GORE-TEX PACLITE SHELL
Présentée en 2009, la membrane exclusive Paclite® est contrecollée sur des étoffes de nylon légères, mais robustes, créant des vêtements extrêmement respirants, compressibles, mais aussi à l’imperméabilité éprouvée. La membrane est recouverte d’une couche noire composée de polymères et de carbone oléophobes – qui repoussent l’huile. Celle-ci laisse passer la transpiration vers l’extérieur, mais empêche les sécrétions huileuses de la peau, l’eau salée ou les insectifuges d’altérer les propriétés imperméables de la membrane. Son extraordinaire compressibilité permet de fabriquer des vêtements qui se font tout petits dans votre sac.
